English Portfolio
Este
portafolio es un Proyecto que en la materia de inglés equivale a un punto extra
final, lo cual tienen en mi caso, vital importancia para acreditar la materia.
Dadas
las circunstancias en las cuales eh estado involucrado, me eh dado a la tarea
de realizar este trabajo final para mejorar mi calificación final de la materia
de Ingles IV.
El
trabajo consta de un resumen de todo lo visto en el semestre en la materia,
anexando trabajos, actividades y proyectos realizados en este plazo. Al igual
que opiniones de lo que significó la materia para nosotros, así como las
dificultades y facilidades que se nos presentaron en el aprendizaje de esta.
This portfolio
is a Project that in the matter of English equals an extra final point, which
in my case, is vitally important to accredit the subject.
Given the
circumstances in which I was involved, I was given the task of performing this
final work to improve my final grade of the English IV subject.
The work
consists of a summary of everything seen in the semester in the subject,
attaching works, activities and projects carried out within this period. As
well as opinions of what the subject meant for us, as well as the difficulties
and facilities that were presented in the learning of this.
Strengths
and Weaknesses in English Learning
Mis debilidades
y fortalezas en el aprendizaje del inglés son muy pocas, pues desde
chico eh practicado este idioma, aunque lo que mayormente se me dificulta es
entender de madera rápida el significado de algunas oraciones.
Igualmente que entender en una conversación lo que
las personas dicen, pues muchos no tienen una pronunciación adecuada o hablan
demasiado rápido.
Mi mayor debilidad en la clase era poder llegar a
tiempo pues aunque salía demasiado temprano de mi casa llegaba a las 7:25 y a
esa hora ya no se podía pasar. El principal motivo era el tráfico en mi camino.
Mis fortalezas son que se me facilita mucho la
pronunciación de la mayoría de las palabras y la traducción de escritos pues me
puedo tomar más tiempo para identificar las estructuras gramaticales de los enunciados.
Y lo que a mi parecer es mi mayor facilidad es que
me gusta mucho la música en inglés y esto me ayuda a identificar muchas
palabras y pronunciaciones, lo que me hace aprenderme nuevos significados y
algunas cosas más. Al igual que me gusta cantar y practicar mi retención en
inglés.
My
weaknesses and strengths in learning English are very few, since I have been
practicing this language since I was a child, although what is most difficult
for me is to understand in quick timing the meaning of some sentences.
Just
as you understand in a conversation what people say, as many do not have a
proper pronunciation or speak too fast.
My
greatest weakness in the class was to be able to arrive on time because even though
I left too early my house arrived at 7:25 and at that time could not be passed.
The main reason was the traffic on my way.
My
strengths are that I am much facilitated the pronunciation of most words and
the translation of writings because I can take more time to identify the
grammatical structures of the statements.
And
what I think is my greatest ease is that I really like music in English and
this helps me to identify many words and pronunciations, which makes me learn
new meanings and some things.
Successful
Activities or Exercises Done in Class or in the English Lab
En este semestre la materia de inglés IV fue muy didáctica
pues hubo muchas actividades de aprendizaje que en semestres pasados no había
realizado.
Una de mis favoritas fue cuando cantamos “You’re
The One That I Want” de Grease entre todos los del salón partiendo de convertir
la letra de Reported Speech y aunque no se convirtió con exactitud pudimos
cantarla con la letra original con lo cual se convirtió en algo fuera de serie.
Otra de las actividades que me gustaba mucho
realizar era trabajar en equipos pues aunque siempre me tocó trabajar con gente
que no conocía siempre pudimos realizar el trabajo.
Y otra de mis favoritas era trabajar en el
laboratorio, principalmente en el blog en donde relatamos algunas de las
historias que pasamos en nuestras vidas.
In
this semester the subject of English IV was very didactic because there were
many learning activities that in the past semesters had not realized.
One
of my favorites was when we sang "You're The One That I Want" by
Grease among all those in the room starting from converting the lyrics of
Reported Speech and although it did not become accurate we were able to sing it
with the original lyrics with which it became something out of the ordinary.
Another
activity that I really enjoyed doing was working in teams because although I
always had to work with people I did not know, we were always able to do the
work.
And
another of my favorites was working in the laboratory, mainly in the blog where
we tell some of the stories we spend in our lives.

Activities or Exercises Done in Class or in the English Lab
En mi caso hubo ciertas actividades que no pude
completar gracias a que no compre el libro por decidía y por algunos problemas
con el distribuidor.
Lo que me dejaba sin realizar ciertas cosas y
dejar de obtener algunas firmas y participaciones en clase, que hoy necesito
demasiado para pasar la materia.
El principal problema en el curso fue que no podía
llegar a tiempo a las clases por que el tráfico era muy incierto y algunas
veces llegaba a tiempo y otras no. Lo que me retraso en el aprendizaje de los
temas y algunas prácticas grupales.
In
my case there were certain activities that I could not complete thanks to not
buying the book by choice and some problems with the distributor.Which left me
without doing certain things and stop getting some signatures and participation
in class, which today I need too much to pass the subject.The main problem in
the course was that it could not arrive in time to the classes because the
traffic was very uncertain and sometimes I arrived in time and others not.
Classroom
Project: Fire Protection System
The aircraft takes big
volumes of extremely inflammable fuel in structure of light weight, inclined
vibration. This structure also takes engines that constant produce extremely
warm gases of leak.
Classes to Provoke a Fire
The protection association
against fire mative has classified fires ans has indetify the types of
extinguidores or better agents on every type. Four categories are clases A, B,
C and D:
Class A.
It classifies the fires,
they are supplied of fuel by solid combustible materials as the paper, the
cloth these fires typically happen in the cabin of the plane and in the
passangers section.
Class B.
The fires are supplied of
fuel by combustible liquids as the petrol,the fuel of engine of turbine,
lubricating oil and hydraulic fluid.
Class C.
The fires imply it
stimulated the electrical equipment. These fires can happen in almost any part
of a plane and they demand the special care due to the danger of electrical
unload.
Class D.
The fires are those in
which some metallike the magnesium burns. These fires typically happen in the
brakes and wheels. And they burn with a lethal intensity.
The Fire Detector and Deteccionde’s System Overheating
A system of fire detector
warns the crew of flight of the presence of a fire that raises the temperature
of a particular position to a high predetermined value. A detector of
overheating initiates a warning when there is a minor increase of the
temperature on the biggest area to most of the system of detection connects a
red disc and touches a fire.

Speaking and Writing Rubrics
Por
motivos personales, me hacen falta las dos primeras rubricas del primer
departamental pues no pude asistir a ser evaluado en esas fechas pues me
encontraba en recuperación.
El
motivo fue que el día 19 de septiembre tuve un accidente automovilístico cerca
de mi asa lo cual me dificulto asistir a esta evaluación.
Aunque en las siguientes evaluaciones si pude
notar un cambio en mi control de nervios al presentar mi examen de Speaking
pues siempre se me olvidaba lo que tenía que decir o me trababa por estar
demasiado nervioso.
En el Writing ha habido un ligero cambio pues mi
nivel no ha cambiado mucho, solo en algunos aspectos pues ya se mas estructuras
gramaticales.
For
personal reasons, I need the first two items of the first departmental because
I could not attend to be evaluated in those dates because I was in recovery.
The
reason was that on September 19 I had a car accident near my handle which made
it difficult for me to attend this evaluation.
Although
in the following evaluations I noticed a change in my control of nerves when
presenting my Speaking exam because I always forgot what I had to say or I was
stuck because I was too nervous.
In
Writing there has been a slight change since my level has not changed much,
only in some aspects because they already have more grammatical structures.

Evidence on Your Study Habits
En mi familia,
mi papa practica mucho el inglés y lo habla casi perfectamente pues desde hace
mucho tomo un curso en el Celex.
Esto no lo
quiso heredar comprándome a mí y a mis hermanas muchísimos cursos de inglés,
diccionarios, audios y metiéndonos a cursos desde pequeños.
Yo era muy
bueno en mi infancia y me gustaba practicarlo y hasta ahora sigo practicando
cada que tengo tiempo.
Tengo un
diccionario que llevo conmigo siempre en mi mochila por si necesito saber algún
significado o algo así, pensando que en algún momento pueda ayudar a algún
extranjero a llegar a cierto lugar o algo así.
Me gusta poner
la televisión en audio alterno para ver algunos programas y escucharlos en inglés
y me sirve de mucho pues casi siempre entiendo de una manera correcta.
Si tuviera que
mejorar en algo seria en controlar mis nervios para no bloquear mis
pensamientos y olvidar todo en el momento que lo necesito.
In
my family, my dad practiced a lot of English and he spoke almost perfectly
because he took a course at Celex.
This
did not want to inherit by buying me and my sisters a lot of courses in
English, dictionaries, audios and getting to courses from an early age.
I
was very good in my childhood and I liked to practice it and until now I
continue to practice every time I have time.
I
have a dictionary that I carry with me always in my backpack in case I need to
know any meaning or something, thinking that at some point I can help some
foreigner to get to a certain place or something.
I
like to put the television in alternate audio to see some programs and listen
in English and it serves me a lot because I almost always understand in a correct
way.
If I
had to improve on something serious in controlling my nerves so as not to block
my thoughts and forget everything when I need it.
